Important Message from Sugar Ridge Resort, Antigua – West Indies

 In Resort News

As the COVID 19 pandemic intensifies, the management and staff of Sugar Ridge Resort have been working tirelessly to deliver high quality accommodations and entertainment experiences for our guests, while keeping our employees doing the jobs that they love, in a safe and healthy environment.

However, despite dedicating additional resources for cleaning and promoting good health, while making difficult decisions to close certain aspects of our operations, it is apparent that this public health crisis requires major collective action if we are to slow its progression.

Against this challenging backdrop, Sugar Ridge Resort has taken the difficult decision to close our property as of Friday March 27th, 2020. We believe that this decision will ensure the wellbeing of our employees, guests and community. This is a time of uncertainty in Antigua and Barbuda and across the globe, and we must all do our part to curtail the spread of this virus. We will plan to reopen our resort as soon as it is safe and responsible to do.

Any cancellations due to COVID 19 will be graciously honored by our cancellation policy. Guests will have 18 months from their original booking date to re-book their Sugar Ridge vacation and deposits will not be forfeited.

Details on the closing procedures, timelines and other issues related to this announcement will be forthcoming on www.sugarridgeantigua.com.

Welcoming guests from around the world is what we do at Sugar Ridge and our management and staff take tremendous pride in our work. We are determined to return to normal operations and will continue to monitor this health crisis, until it is safe to welcome you back to our resort.

Kind Regards,

Vernon A. Jeffers, Sr.
