Do you offer packages for weddings?
Yes, we offer two wedding packages, which can be found here. Our packages provide the basics for your wedding, leaving lots of room to customize your day, your way.
Are there transportation options for getting my guests and I from the airport to Sugar Ridge?
Absolutely. For an additional fee we will arrange all transportation.
Where is the wedding ceremony held?
We have a pavilion at the highest part of our resort where weddings typically take place, providing stunning views of the Caribbean below. We are also able to coordinate wedding ceremonies at Ffryes Beach if you want to say “I do” with sand between your toes.
What about the reception? Where does it take place, and is there a set menu?
Receptions are completely customized to each wedding. It can be a full dinner reception at Carmichael’s restaurant, a cocktail party, or a simple cake and champagne toast. Because of this, there is no set menu or location and you have the ability to choose what you’d like.
What if it rains on my wedding day?
This depends on the wedding and chosen venue, but we always have a back-up plan. The wedding can either be moved indoors or we can delay it. Because we only schedule one wedding per day, we can be flexible.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of guest that can attend my wedding?
Your wedding can be as small as you and your partner. The largest group we can accommodate is 70 people.
Can I bring my own photographer? What about décor?
You are more than welcome to bring décor with you if you have specialty items you’d like incorporated. You may also bring your own photographer, however, we do charge a fee for bringing outside service providers into the resort.
Are there any documents we need to bring to Antigua for our wedding?
For your marriage certificate your passport is required, as well as all official documentation if you’ve been divorced or are widowed.
How is the wedding coordinated from afar?
After filling in our Inquiry Form, you will be contacted by our certified wedding planner, Jolie Watkins. Jolie will be with you every step of way, maintaining regular communication through e-mail or phone to ensure that all details are planned exactly as you like—with none of the stress!
