The Venues

Find the Perfect Place to Say “I Do” in Antigua

The wedding ceremony is the most symbolic portion of your wedding and choosing the venue is one of the biggest decisions during the planning process. Despite the fact that your surroundings will melt away while saying your vows, your venue sets the tone for your wedding.

At Sugar Ridge we have two venue options for couples to choose between: our wedding pavilion and Ffryes Beach.

Our wedding pavilion is located at the highest peak of the property near Carmichael’s restaurant. Nestled into the hillside, our open-air pavilion draped in white fabric is surrounded by lush greenery and features stunning views of the Caribbean below. 50 guests can be seated comfortably for ceremonies held at our pavilion.

For those looking to tie the knot with their toes in the sand and the sound of the Caribbean in the background, we are able to hold ceremonies at nearby Ffryes Beach. While the beach is public like all beaches in Antigua, weddings are respected and provided a private atmosphere. As many as 70 guests can be accommodated for ceremonies at Ffryes Beach.

Typical décor includes the following options:

  • Bamboo arch draped in white fabric
  • Petals sprinkled down the aisle
  • Garden flowers
  • Tiki torches or lanterns (depending on time of day)
  • Shells and local beach resources (for ceremonies at Ffryes Beach)

Regardless of which venue you choose, the set up will be completely customized to your tastes and preferences. When it’s time to walk down the aisle, wedding coordinator Jolie will have every detail in place so that all you have to think about is saying “I do.”
